There will be no landowner transferable permits in 2008. Nonresident application period is May 1 - 31. Nonresident applicants may choose two adjacent units for the permit to be valid in.
2008 PROPOSED deer season dates as follows :
Youth and Disability: September 19 - September 21, 2008
Early Muzzleloader : September 22 - October 5, 2008
Archery: September 22 - December 31, 2008
Early Firearms (DMU 19): October 11 - October 19, 2008
Firearms: December 3 - December 14, 2008
Extended Whitetail Antlerless Only: January 1, 2009 - January 4, 2009
Extended Archery (DMU 19): January 5, 2009 - January 31, 2009
A resident hunter will be able to purchase a statewide, whitetail either sex, any season permit and a statewide, whitetail antlerless only, any season permit over the counter or online. With these two permits, the hunter will be able to hunt anywhere in the state on public or private land during any open season with the equipment legal for that season.
Resident General Whitetail Either Sex: $32.15
Can be purchased online or at any licensed agent.
Landowner/Tenant Whitetail Either Sex: $17.15
Can be purchased online or at any licensed agent.
Resident youth half price permits for turkey and big game.
A Resident Archery permit will be statewide , either species, either sex.
Nonresident Antlered or Any Deer: $322.15 (includes a $21.15 nonrefundable application fee)
